My Teeth and Helping on the Computer!

Hi, everyone!  It's me, Newton!

 

You may have seen that I'm on medical hold now.  That's because the Lasix stopped working and I started coughing again, and they're trying to figure out why!  I had some xrays taken and some samples taken, too, and everything appears OK.  I even had a dental and had 13 teeth extracted! 

 

For some reason, my breath gets stinky pretty quickly, and so my foster mom does her best to brush my teeth, but I am not such a big fan of that!  So she's using a cotton ball and taking it slowly right now.  Maybe I will even like it some day (but shhh, don't tell her that!). 

 

 

 

I have an echo scheduled for the end of December to rule out any cardiac cause of my cough. And in the meantime, I'm helping my foster mom when she works on the computer!  And I still love to cuddle!!   

 

I am sleeping late!

I am sleeping late on a cold Saturday morning!  Here I am with my foster brother, Watson the schnauzer, and my foster cat sister, Barnaby.  I get along great with the other dogs and cats here!  We are all enjoying the comfortable warm bed! 

I am clean!

Here I am giving myself a nice little bath.  My foster mom thinks I'm so cute when I do this!  I hope you think I'm cute, too!

I am in my pajamas!  They're a little too big and my back legs fall out sometimes, but that's OK!  They still keep me warm and snuggly.  Here I am sound asleep, dreaming of my forever home.  Good night and sweet dreams!
